Why Ælevare

The loop strap, reconsidered.

More about Ælevare

Shaped microsuede contact

Mirrored left- and right-specific contact areas follow each hand and are covered in soft, washable microsuede, giving the straps a broader and more considered surface where they bear during a pull.

Dense cushioning without bulk

A thin layer of closed-cell EVA foam sits inside the microsuede cover. The dense, sweat-resistant filling adds cushioning while keeping the strap compact.

One continuous nylon load path

Heavy-duty nylon webbing forms the structural core of the loop strap and carries the load from the hand to the bar.

Rubber woven into the grip

Rubber threads are integrated into the bar-facing nylon webbing rather than applied as a surface coating, keeping the anti-slip material part of the strap construction.

A tail shaped for the bar

The long tail carries a gentle curve that follows the grip of the bar more naturally and helps start the first wrap with less repositioning.

Finished for repeated training

Rolled microsuede edges avoid sharp contact points. Bonded nylon thread, reinforced Box-X stitching and heat-sealed webbing ends support the high-load transition areas.

Mirrored for each hand. Continuous under load.

Comfort at the hand. Grip at the bar.

Each strap uses mirrored hand-specific geometry, while its nylon webbing forms one continuous load-bearing loop and tail. A shaped microsuede cover with closed-cell EVA cushions the hand, and woven rubber threads add friction where the curved tail meets the bar.

Designed for the work that grip can limit.

Deadlifts and Romanian deadlifts

A rubber-assisted wrap for loaded hinge work when grip fatigue begins to limit the set.

Barbell and dumbbell rows

A long, curved tail for repeated horizontal pulling with barbells or dumbbells.

Pulldowns and cable rows

The loop strap wraps around compatible pulldown and rowing handles in the same way it wraps around a bar.

Shrugs and pulling machines

Built for common pulling handles across free-weight and selectorised training.

Ælevare Loop Straps are being developed for controlled strength and hypertrophy pulling movements.

The contact pad should sit where the strap bears.

Each size is supplied as a mirrored left/right pair. S, M and L use distinct loop and padding proportions so each shaped microsuede area can sit comfortably against its intended hand. Final measurement ranges are still being validated.

  1. Measure around the wrist where the loop strap will sit and note your hand proportion.

  2. Use the published S, M or L range once validated sizing data is available.

  3. A proper fit keeps the microsuede pad and rolled edges flat while allowing the tail to pass through the loop without twisting.

Final S, M and L measurement ranges will be published after fit testing.

Development and testing

Show the work behind the product.

Testing is still underway across loop fit, materials, structural stitching, cushioning and the woven rubber grip. Detailed methods and results will be published with the relevant product revision, conditions and limitations when testing is complete.

Detailed test records will be published as each testing category is completed.

Behind Ælevare

Why comfort and grip belong in one strap.

Ælevare treats mirrored left/right hand geometry, the nylon loop, shaped microsuede contact area and rubber-thread tail as one continuous system. The webbing carries the load, the padded shape manages contact at each hand, and the curved grip face controls the wrap.
